STEP BY STEP INSTALLATION GUIDE

Installing your Instant Fit Blinds is a breeze. In just a few minutes,
you'll transform your windows.
LAY OUT YOUR INSTANT FIT BLIND COMPONENTS

Unpack your blinds, undoing any packaging and lay on the floor face down in the rough position it will be assembled. Wooden, Venetian and Pleated frames will be tied together when you receive them.

All blinds come pretensioned, so there is no need to adjust the tension string.

CONNECTING THE FRAME

Insert the hooked piece into the runner, ensure the thicker part of the nib is going into the rectangular part of the runner.

SECURING THE FRAME

Ensure the pointed nib slides up the outside of the frame towards the clip hole (red arrow). Before reaching the clip hole, the frame will butt up against the square edge (blue arrow). Ensure the square edge then slides up the inside of the frame. The pointed nib will then slide into place.

CONNECTING THE TENSION SPRINGS - SKIP THIS STEP FOR ROLLER BLINDS

Connect the coiled spring to the hook. You should feel a good level of resistance as you pull the two together. Tension should not be adjusted. Your frame should now be fully assembled.

PREPARING ROLLERS - SKIP THIS STEP FOR WOODEN, VENETIAN & PLEATED INSTANT FIT BLINDS

Carefully pull your roller blind down using the handle. Pull the end caps located either side of the bottom of the blind to the front of the side runners. The easiest way to do this is one side at a time.

INSERTING THE CLIPS
Each Instant Fit Clip should be inserted into the four corners of the window. Using a credit card as a spacer like the photos attached.

Now butt your clip up against the card and then push it into the gasket seal, aka the window beading. This is usually a black, rubbery material that runs all the way around the edge of the window, where the glass meets the frame.

Do the same for all 4 corners of the glass to get all your clips into place.

If you have particularly tough beading, soak with fairy liquid and warm water to soften.

CLIPPING YOUR BLINDS IN

The blinds have pre-drilled holes which connect the shutter and the clips. Line the shutter holes up with the clips (starting at the bottom first) and then clip your blinds in. Et voila!
